The following e-mail was received from

National Dart Federation of Canada Executive officially cancelling the Youth and Adult National Darts Championships for 2021.

After consultation and review of all factors with the host, Nova Scotia, the provincial adult and youth directors, the 2021 Adult and Youth National Championships will unfortunately be cancelled.  Every effort has been made in the past two years to hold the championships in Nova Scotia. With the uncertainty that still remains, as confirmed with Nova Scotia, and the contractual obligations facing the subsequent host committees, this is no longer feasible.

Further to the February 15, 2021 (and prior notifications) advising of the rotation based on completed and signed contracts, further clarification of the location of the next National Championships is as follows:

2022 – Host: Darts Ontario, Event location:  Toronto, ON

2023 – Beginning of the 5-year centralization – Host: Centralization Committee, Event location: Ste. Hyacinthe, QC

As a reminder:  ALL memberships that have been purchased since October 1, 2020 (for 2020-2021) will be honoured  for the 2021-2022 season. If there are any membership questions, please contact Mary Dezan, NDFC Membership Director at

For those that may not be aware, the WDF has also cancelled the 2021 World Cup.  The announcement can be found on the WDF website at:

We thank everyone for their patience and understanding for all the issues that have arisen or will still impact future events.

Everyone stay safe and we hope to see you all soon for in-person events.

General Secretary
